Park Rapids Invitational Tournament

We are so fortunate to be able to showcase our school and our town on March 10th with our first Park Rapids TaeKwonDo Invitational Tournament.  We will be inviting all of the LEE"S ASSOCIATION schools so this will be our time to shine.
 
Though lots of fun these tournaments are lots of work and we will be needing support in many areas from our students and black belts and parents.

Also, we will need manpower the day of the tournament, so we will be looking for sign up sheets for the various stations we will need to man.  We will have an equipment table, a concession stand, a t shirt table, etc.  Together we can put our best faces forward and have a tournament to be proud of..

Parents Night Out Saturday, January 28th

Our next Park Rapids Tae Kwon Do lock Inn/parents night out will be held on this Saturday January 28th 2012. The event will start at 7pm and will end at 9am the next morning. Anyone 8 years of age and older or in my intermediate/advance (Green belt and up) Tae Kwon Do classes, and up to two of their friends are welcome to come on this exciting night! This will be a PIRATE themed lock inn! We have lots of fun games, entertainment, contests, and prizes given out all night long! You’re not going to want to miss out! Cost is only $25.00 which includes pizza, juice, and all entertainment. The planned schedule is as follows.

7-8pm sign in/register to win grand prize

8-9pm fun and games

9-10 Obstacle Course and Treasure Hunt!

10-11Special entertainment                               

11-12pm Pizza pop fun and games

12-2am Movie on BIG screen

2:00am lights out

Fun and games throughout the night will include. Battle Ball/Dodge ball! Ping pong, Nerf Battle, video games, movies, and much more! Prizes will be handed out!

Kids should bring...

1. Sleeping bag, pillow

2. Any video games and movies they want to play or watch.(All games and movies must be approved by Master Nick before watching or playing.)

3. Any extra snacks

4. 2 Ship Mates J

5. Nerf Shooter

6. Pirate Costume

No uniforms will be needed.

ALL KIDS NEED TO BE PICKED UP BY 9AM THE NEXT MORNING. ALL TAE KWON DO KIDS AND FRIENDS ATTENDING NEED TO HAVE THE WRITTEN PERMISSION FORM SIGNED BY THEIR PARENTS/GUARDIAN BEFORE THEY CAN ATTEND.
